I was wondering if anyone on here knew much about graphics card since mine has been giving me trouble. I have a nvidia 9800gt but on firday my computer stopped detecting it and i had to switch back to my integrated graphics card and now minecraft closes right after i sign in. Any ideas or suggestions?

Physically take the card out of your computer, then put it back.
Or just re-install the software.

whenever i try and install the software it says it cant detect any nvidia hardware but i will try removing and reinserting the card. Maybe i will get some more ram eventually and have them look at the card and figure out what is wrong, but i would prefer if i could do it myself. I'll let you know if it works.

Nope it did not work, im all out of ideas i searched a bunch on the net but i can't seem to find anything that helps it just uses my old integrated card some ati piece of crap and can't detect my hardware.

What games have you been playing recently?
Occasionally they can ruin your graphics cards...

I was just playing minecraft and now i can play again but only with my integrated card not my good one. I think i might get a better one soon any suggestions on what one to get?
